Discover Your Learner Permit Secrets

Gauranteed Tips For Your Learner Permit

Most new drivers will be required to begin driving with a learner permit. Obtaining a learner's permit is not that difficult, yet you will be required to satisfy some of your state's Department of Motor Vehicle requirements. Most states now have a drivers education program that deals with drug and alcohol awareness test. You must pass their written test, and you will need to be included on an insurance policy before you can actually start to drive under the conditions set forth with your learner's permit. Finding the cheapest and best insurance for new drivers is simple and can make your entire driving experience a joy. Do you qualify? Enter Your Zip Code Here Learner Permit (100% FREE)

New driver's can expect to satisfy some common requirements as such: Successfully completing their state DMV's drug and alcohol awareness courses. Reading all the material provided in their drivers education study guides (this can also include having a parent or guardian signing off that they too have read the driver's handbook on the dangers and responsibilities of drivers with a learner permit.

Currently, most states will allow you to get a learner's permit at the age of fifteen and a half (that's 15 yrs plus six months...I marked the day on my calendar!) Drivers with their learning permit will under most states laws, only allow driving under a certain set conditions, such as being accompanied by and adult of at least 21 years of age with you in the car at any point in time that you are behind the wheel. Most states will allow the age to be 18 or older if the adult is related to you by being your immediate family member or legal guardian (none of this, 'but we're cousins', or we're 'like brothers' will fly). The accompanying adult, regardless of age, must also have a valid drivers license and be capable of driving should you start freaking out (and no, I am not calling out my sister on this one....OK, actually I am).

Having your learner permit for at least six months (before your sixteenth birthday) is also a requirement that most states will require. The benefit here is that you will have time to get some practice driving under supervision. The main point of your times that you spend from when you first get your learner permit to actually driving alone for the first time is to guide you through the process of navigating a car (which can be very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing). Take the time to study, stay focused, and be a responsible driver and we will all be happier for giving you a driver's license. Happy 16 th Birthday!
