Tips For Your California DUI

The California DUI Laws Reviewed

The California DUI laws can change at anytime, and there is a lot of discretion left up to the judge that oversees your case. I will provide a snap shot of what you are facing if you have been cited for a DUI. Let me say upfront, that if you made a mistake and you learn from your experience (and nobody got hurt as a result) then you can take this as a challenge for you to grow from. The outlook on not changing your behavior is also reflected in this article below. Did you know that there is something you can do right now to actually save money? (DUI's always end up costing a fortune) Your current insurance company will love to profit from your misfortune, Enter Your Zip Code Here California DUI Cheapest (Free) Instant Quotes!

In California, with a first time DUI conviction; you can expect a fine that ranges from $390 to over $1,000 (this does not even come close to what you will be paying your attorney). Jail (yep, your going to spend anywhere from 96 hours, that' s four days to 6 months in the poky) and to the men out there, have you ever stopped to wonder why it's called the poky? That should be another deterrent. You can also know that your license will be suspended for six months (but don't worry, California is known for it's public transportation...NOT!), and you must also take and complete a DUI Driving Program (which, again, you get to pay for).Oh, and an increase to your insurance requirements (you will soon learn what SR22 means). To save the most on your DUI, enter your zip code ABOVE, it's 100% Free.

Should you desire to test the California DUI laws for a second conviction in a ten year period beginning from your first conviction, then then fun is only increased. Here's what to expect: Jail from 90 to 365 days (yep, that's a year of your life!), more money in fines, a Two Year suspended license (sometimes a license restriction that allows work travel is allowed), more DUI classes, and more increased financial requirements on your insurance coverage before being allowed to get behind the wheel again...oh yeah, more attorney fees. Now, if you are really interested in experiencing the full effect, you can go for the repeat-offender of the third and fourth time convictions.  At this point in the game (because, really, three plus DUI convictions society can judge the hell out of you, after all you obviously do not give a rat's bum about the safety of others), the California DUI law will increase all of the known tactics of jail, fines, restrictions, making you install special devices that prohibit your car to drive if you have alcohol on your breath, etc...

Thankfully most people learn their lesson after the first California DUI, if that is you, I want to help you out right now.  The average cost of a DUI conviction, not including property damage or any lawsuits, is over $20,000, so I am pretty sure you can use the cheapest insurance quote in your city, enter your zip code above, it' s 100% Free , now that's a nice change!

Lee, you are a messenger from God. As soon as I'm done thanking you here I'm gonna run out and get saved. I'm gonna run into to the first church, temple, mosque, or synagogue I see and start praying. I'm gonna become the holiest Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Jew.... whatever it takes, to keep from going into that pokey!

Then I'll come back and spend the rest of my life worshiping at your feet.
